We offer several types of consultations to ensure patients receive timely, flexible, and high-quality cancer care. Our practice is fast-paced, and we aim to provide a consultation style that best suits each patient’s needs and circumstances.
In-Person Consultations (Preferred for New Patients)
New patient appointments are ideally conducted in person.
This allows for:
A thorough clinical assessment
Clear discussion of diagnosis and treatment options
Review of previous records
Better understanding of patient preferences and concerns
We encourage patients to bring a family member or support person whenever possible. This helps ensure important information is understood and shared, and offers additional emotional support.
Video Consultations
We also offer video consultations, which are convenient and effective for follow-ups or treatment discussions.
During a video appointment:
Scan results, blood tests, and documents can be shared directly on screen
Patients can join using a smartphone, iPad, laptop, or desktop
A secure web link will be sent by email before the appointment
Video consultations provide flexibility while maintaining high-quality communication and care.
Telephone Consultations
For patients who cannot attend in person or use video, telephone consultations are available.
These are suitable for straightforward follow-ups, medication discussions, or symptom review.
Important Note About Appointment Times
Due to the busy schedules of our clinicians and the complexity of oncology care, consultations often run on dynamic timelines.
There is typically a two-hour window around the booked time for phone consultation types.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility, which helps us provide thorough care to every patient.
